About Us

My name is Paul Salazar. I am very passionate about sharing literacy. I have been in the field of early childhood education for the past 30 years. I started my career as a Teacher Assistant with the Orange County Department of Education. From there I worked for over 12 years with Orange County Head Start as a Teacher and Center Director. I worked as an Assistant Coordinator with the Santa Ana Unified School District Head Start program. Ever since my first teacher read me the "I see Sam" books in kindergarten I have loved reading. I hope I get the chance to bring an amazing literacy activity to you and your students.

I believe children can read, learn and still have fun and be silly. The students picture can be taken and placed in the hole or the student can actually put their face through the hole. Either way they become the character in the story.
